About this job
RAS Logistics is looking for independent contractors to haul building and home improvement supplies for a major retail customer out of Syracuse, NY. This is a contract carrier opportunity, not an employee position, and comes with a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus.
Pay
- $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per week
- Settlements paid weekly
- Contract rates described as highly competitive
Routes
- Routes available up to 6 days a week
- Driver-only routes, no helper needed
What you'll haul
- Building and home improvement supplies for a major retailer
Requirements
- Your company (ICC) must be a legal business entity
- Your company must have, or be able to get, its own Interstate Motor Carrier Authority (USDOT # and MC #)
- Your company must have, or be able to get, Certificate of Insurance covering Auto Liability, General Liability, Umbrella, Cargo, and Workers Injury
- Class A License required
- You supply the tractor/power unit (tandem axle day cab preferred)
- Trailer-mounted forklift experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must agree to a background check
