About this job
Our company in Bryan, TX is looking for an experienced OTR flatbed driver who's also handy with basic truck repairs. You'll run a mix of equipment and keep things moving safely and on schedule.
Pay
- $1,500.00 - $2,100.00 per week
- Fuel card provided
What you'll haul
- You may operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers
- Work includes loading and unloading cargo with proper care for the materials
What you'll do
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance
- Plan efficient routes, factoring in traffic and road conditions
- Keep accurate records of your hours, maintenance, and deliveries
- Stay in touch with dispatch on delivery progress, delays, or any issues that come up
- Follow all applicable commercial driving regulations
- Handle minor repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed
Requirements
- Class A CDL with at least 2 years of OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record and a safety-first mindset
- Mechanical aptitude for basic repairs and upkeep
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Must pass required background checks and drug screening
