CDL-A Entry-Level Driver — Home Weekly Dedicated Store Routes

This is a dedicated store route job for one retail customer, running Passaic and Bergen County with weekly home time. It's set up for new CDL-A drivers, with mentor-led training before you go solo.

Pay

• $0.85 to $0.90 per mile

• Average weekly gross of $1,700 to $2,000

• Extra $75 for each delivery inside the NYC boroughs

• $650 per week during training

• About 2,100 miles per week

• $300 bonus once hired

Home time

You're home every week, and through the house as often as routes allow.

What you'll haul

Dedicated store routes for one retail customer, running round trips through New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. Day and night shifts are available, and the account runs weekends and holidays.

Your path to solo

After a background and license check, orientation runs up to 2 days with hotel covered and bus fare reimbursed. You'll then spend 4 to 6 weeks training with a mentor before getting your own assigned truck, averaging about 1.5 years old.

Requirements

• Class A CDL, age 21 or older

• 120 hours of CDL school, or 6 months of recent experience

• Up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no DUI/DWI in the last 10

• DOT physical and hair and urine drug test
