Pay
- Starting around $70,000 a year, with earning potential of $75,000 or more
What you'll haul
- Dry bulk materials in pneumatic tank trailers
- Late-model Kenworth and Peterbilt tractors equipped with ELDs and GPS
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling
- Regional and/or local routes depending on business needs
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license; hazmat and tanker endorsements are a plus but not mandatory
- At least 2 years of Class A driving experience (job description also lists 3 years required)
- Must be 23 or older
- Able to get or already hold a TWIC card
- Must pass a pre-employment driving test, DOT physical, and drug and alcohol screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
What you'll do
- Operate a tractor-trailer hauling dry bulk freight
- Complete routine vehicle inspections, including walking, bending, and climbing
- Stay compliant with DOT rules
- Interact professionally with customers on site
