About this job
MidAmerica Transport, a new carrier launching under our company (PI Holdings), is building its driver team in Midland, TX. You'll primarily haul frac sand in belly dump trailers, with some flatbed work mixed in. This is a ground-floor chance to grow with a new, fast-growing operation.
Pay
- You earn 30% of the load's gross profit. Example: a $500 load pays you $150. Four loads in a day would bring $600 for that day.
- Drivers consistently running 4 loads daily could gross over $125,000.00 a year.
- Pay starts from $2,000.00 per week and is issued weekly.
- Several bonus opportunities exist, covering sign-on, retention, safety and referrals.
Home time
You'll be home every day.
What you'll haul
Most runs involve frac sand in belly dump trailers, though flatbed loads come up too. You'll handle loading and unloading, making sure everything is secured correctly for the road.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record and a clean criminal history going back 7 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Must be legally able to work in the US
- Minimum age 21, per commercial insurance rules
- Solid understanding of DOT/FMCSA rules and safe driving practices
- Comfortable with ELD and GPS tools, ideally GEOTAB and Netradyne systems
- Able to pull either a belly dump or flatbed trailer behind a Class A tractor
On the job, you'll run pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, log hours through the GEOTAB system, and stay in touch with your Driver Manager and clients about delivery progress or any delays.
