CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $500 Monthly Bonus Eligible

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver in Pflugerville, TX to deliver, set up, and retrieve modular buildings and storage units. You'll work independently on-site, handling everything from transport to final setup, while coordinating with dispatch, field teams, and customers.

• Local routes with daily home time

What you'll haul and do

• Drive a commercial vehicle (26,000+ lbs) using 5th wheel, ball hitch, or tilt flatbed equipment to move modular buildings and storage units

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your rig compliant with DOT or TC rules

• Secure units properly with tie-downs, chains, and rigging gear, and watch load weight, width, and clearance throughout the trip

• Check each site for terrain, overhead hazards, grade, and access issues before placing units per customer instructions

• Set up and tear down units yourself, including cribbing, leveling, basic anchoring, and installing add-ons like steps, ramps, tie-downs, and security hardware

• Spot opportunities to recommend extra products (ramps, steps, locks) to customers

• Serve as the main point of contact on-site, working out placement details and solving problems as they come up

• Keep dispatch updated on routes, delays, and delivery status, and log completed work through mobile apps, GPS, or logbooks

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• At least 2 years of related experience

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record (no major violations)

• Current DOT or TC physical card

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment

• Able to use digital tools for routing, logging, and communication, including GPS and electronic logs

• Experience assessing and working through varied delivery conditions

• Prior commercial driving and load securement experience

Preferred but not required: experience with load security or construction work, hauling wide loads, or modular setup and teardown.
