CDL-A Delivery Merchandiser — From $54,295/year

Coca-Cola UNITED in Florence, AL (North Alabama division) is looking for a CDL-A driver to deliver, stock and merchandise product at retail accounts. This is a touch-freight role starting at $54,295 annually, working Monday through Friday from 5am until the route is finished.

• Starting pay from $54,295 per year

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 5am start, until the day's work is done

What you'll do

• Drive to retail stores and unload product

• Rotate stock and merchandise shelves, displays, racks and cold equipment to company standards

• Set up sales displays and keep backstock organized

• Pick up broken or expired product, empty shells and pallets

• Keep accurate records of cases delivered and customer transactions

• Handle route settlement and proper care of product and equipment each day

• Build relationships with store contacts and provide strong customer service

• Report store-level issues and competitive information to your supervisor

• Help train and coach newer delivery merchandisers as needed

• Follow DOT driving regulations and company safety rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL, maintained per UNITED fleet policy

• At least 21 years old

• Able to meet DOT physical standards

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training (or equivalent)

• Able to read, write and speak English, and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers

• Comfortable with basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing whole numbers, fractions and decimals)

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced setting

• Able to work with minimal supervision and solve problems on the go

• Required to wear safety-toed shoes and other PPE per company policy when operating equipment, handling palletized product, using hand trucks/dollies, or servicing coolers
