CDL-A Delivery Driver — Avg. $115,000/Yr, $12K–$20K Bonus

Our company is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers to run routes across Long Island and NYC. You'll handle 100% touch freight, deliver to customers, and help keep the foodservice supply chain running.

Pay

• Daily minimum of $320, with component-based pay calculated on stops, miles, and cases

• Drivers average $115,000 in total pay during their first year

• New hires can earn a $12,000 retention bonus if eligible

• New hires with 2+ years of commercial food delivery experience can earn a $20,000 retention bonus if eligible

• Actual pay varies based on experience, skills, role, and location

Schedule

• Work 5-6 days per week, including one weekend day

• Dispatch times fall between 2:00 AM and 4:30 AM

• Routes cover Long Island and New York City

What you'll haul

You'll move food and beverage products on local delivery routes, loading and unloading by hand, ramp, or two-wheeler, and placing items in the right storage spots at each stop.

What you'll do

• Drive safely through highway and city conditions, including backing into tight docks

• Unload product and place it in designated areas

• Confirm deliveries with customers and collect signatures

• Deliver strong customer service at each stop

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks

• Handle collections or payments when needed

• Take on other tasks as assigned

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, or lower products weighing 20 to 80+ lbs each shift

• Work outdoors in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

• Handle temperatures as low as 0 degrees in multi-temp environments

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, twist, reach overhead, and use fine hand coordination throughout the shift

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older

• Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months specifically in food or beverage delivery

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required depending on location

• Able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-mandated database tracking CDL/CLP holders' drug and alcohol violations
