CDL-A Delivery Driver — $38.80/hr After Training + $15,000 Bonus

Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver out of Clifton Park, NY, running local routes with early morning starts. New hires get a $15,000 retention bonus, and benefits kick in on your first day.

Pay

• Training pay is $35 per hour, with daily overtime after 8 hours

• Once training ends, you'll earn $38.80 per hour, also with daily overtime after 8 hours

• Eligible new hires receive a $15,000 retention bonus

• Actual pay can vary based on your experience, skills and location

Schedule

• Workdays fall Monday through Saturday, and you'll need flexibility for either a 4- or 5-day week

• Shifts begin between 3am and 6am

• Based out of Clifton Park, NY

What you'll haul

This is 100% touch freight. You'll drive to customer locations, then unload product yourself with a hand truck, ramp, or by hand, placing it where it needs to go. You'll also get signed delivery confirmations, handle any collections or payments that come up, and do pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 21 years old

• 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months specifically in food or beverage delivery

• Able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, talk with officials, and complete reports

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-mandated database tracking drug and alcohol violations for CDL holders

Physical demands

Expect to lift, carry, push, pull or lower product weighing 20 to 80+ lbs throughout your shift, work outdoors in all weather with frequent stops (10 or more per shift), and handle temperatures as cold as 0 degrees. The job involves regular bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting, climbing and standing.
