CDL-A Delivery Driver — $38.80/hr After Training + $15,000 Bonus

Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Champlain, NY to deliver foodservice products to customers, handling hands-on unloading at every stop.

Pay

• Training pay starts at $35 per hour, plus daily overtime after 8 hours

• Once training ends, pay rises to $38.80 per hour, plus daily overtime after 8 hours

• Eligible new hires receive a $15,000 retention bonus

• Base rate range is $35 to $38.80 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, role and location

Schedule and location

• Based out of Champlain, NY

• Works Monday through Saturday on a flexible 4- or 5-day week

• Shifts begin between 3am and 6am

What you'll haul

• Foodservice deliveries to customer accounts

• This is 100% touch freight: you'll unload by hand, two-wheeler or ramp and place items in the right storage spots

• You'll confirm each delivery, get customer signatures, and sometimes handle payments or collections

• Pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks are part of the job, along with routine account and customer service duties

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 21 years old

• Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse (a DOT requirement for all CDL/CLP holders)

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months specifically in food or beverage delivery

• Able to read and communicate in English well enough to understand road signs, respond to official requests and complete reports

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull or lower product weighing 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly each shift, work in multi-temperature settings down to 0 degrees, make 10 or more stops per shift in all weather, and perform frequent bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling and similar movements
