Our company in Kenilworth, NJ is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul packaged food freight, including refrigerated loads, across the North East and Mid-West on regional routes.
Pay
- $2,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, carrying packaged food products
- Regional routes across the North East and Mid-West
What you'll do
- Drive tractor-trailers safely on set delivery routes
- Unload freight by hand and with equipment, securing loads properly for transit
- Use GPS to plan routes and adjust on the fly to stay on schedule
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per FMCSA and DOT rules
- Keep accurate delivery logs and paperwork, and stay in touch with dispatch on delivery status
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Comfortable with manual transmissions and manual unloading work
- Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT safety rules
- Able to use GPS navigation for routing and real-time changes
- Experience hauling freight, including refrigerated loads
