CDL-A Dedicated Local Driver — $1,500–$2,100/Week

Our company in Islandia, NY is looking for a full-time CDL-A company driver for a dedicated local route. You'll move freight that may include flatbed, refrigerated and tanker loads, handling both the driving and the loading and unloading.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $2,100.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Goods and materials to assigned delivery points on a dedicated, local route

• Flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers and other trailer types, depending on the load

• Loading and unloading using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A with endorsements matching the equipment you'll run

• At least 12-18 months of commercial driving experience

• Clean driving record, free of major violations or accidents

• Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks and operating loading equipment

• Able to pass a drug and alcohol test, including a follicle test

• Strong route planning, time management and communication skills for working with dispatch and customers

• Accurate, timely logbook and paperwork completion
