CDL-A Dedicated Driver — $1,700–$1,800/wk, Home Weekly

This Austin-area CDL-A role moves dedicated automotive freight along set customer lanes, paying $1,700 to $1,800 per week for about 2,500 miles of driving.

Pay

• Weekly earnings between $1,700 and $1,800

• Mileage rate of $0.70 per mile for company drivers, including both loaded and empty miles

• About 2,500 miles each week

• Paid weekly

Home time

• Weekly 34-hour reset built into the schedule

What you'll haul

• Dedicated automotive parts and rack freight on three established lanes

• Loads start in Laredo, TX and deliver to Illinois, Tennessee, and/or Mississippi

• Combination of drop-and-hook and live load/unload stops

• Return trips may bring back empty automotive racks

• Be ready to drive on weekends to keep mileage steady

Equipment

• Late-model trucks such as the Peterbilt 579, assigned based on availability

• Automatic transmissions

• Trucks equipped with inverters and refrigerators

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card

• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 12 months, or 1 year within the past 3 years

• Experience must include pulling a trailer of 40 feet or longer

• Must meet standard safety and qualification checks
