CDL-A Construction Driver — Dump Trucks & Flatbeds

Our company in Phoenix, AZ needs a CDL-A driver to haul materials and equipment for their construction crew. You'll run heavy trucks between job sites and pitch in with site work when needed.

What you'll haul

• Construction materials and equipment, using dump trucks, flatbeds and other heavy-duty trucks

• Loads to and from active job sites

What you'll do

• Load and unload materials safely, securing them properly

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to keep trucks DOT-compliant

• Log departure and arrival times and note any problems during transport

• Follow safety rules and company policy, including required PPE and traffic laws

• Stay in contact with the construction team, site managers and clients to keep deliveries on schedule

• Help with site tasks like material handling and cleanup when you're not driving

• Attend ongoing safety meetings and training

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A

• Clean driving history, no major violations or accidents in the last 3 years

• Solid understanding of DOT rules and construction-site safety practices

• Physically able to manage loading and unloading work

• Open to flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends

• Strong verbal communication for coordinating with the team and clients

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and agree to random testing on the job
