CDL-A Car Hauler Driver — Local, Home Daily, $1,750-$2,900/wk

Our company is looking for a CDL-A Car Hauler Driver to run local routes out of E Rutherford, NJ 07073. You'll haul vehicles to dealerships, clients and storage facilities, staying close to home with a steady schedule.

Pay

• $1,750.00 to $2,900.00 per week

Home time

• Local routes, home daily

What you'll haul

• Vehicles moved on flatbed or enclosed car-hauling trailers

• You'll load and unload cars by hand or with equipment, making sure everything is secured properly for transport

What the job involves

• Driving tractor-trailers set up for car hauling, following all FMCSA and DOT rules

• Planning efficient local pickup and delivery routes with GPS

• Running pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck and trailer to catch mechanical or safety problems early

• Keeping accurate records of hours, vehicle condition, cargo and delivery paperwork

• Staying in touch with dispatch and customers on pickup and delivery timing

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• Manual transmission experience preferred

• Background in commercial driving, ideally hauling cars or other freight

• Comfortable with GPS routing and planning efficient local runs

• Solid grasp of loading, unloading and cargo securement practices

• Understanding of FMCSA and DOT compliance; hazmat or experience with reefers, flatbeds or tankers is a plus but not required
