About this job
Our company needs a CDL-A Belly Dump Truck Driver in Yuma, AZ to haul aggregates to job sites. This heavy civil construction company has over 70 years in highways, bridges, and infrastructure work.
What you'll haul
- Aggregate materials delivered to active job sites
- You'll work with a variety of equipment and site conditions depending on the assignment
Schedule
- Day or night shifts, with overtime and weekend work possible up to DOT hours-of-service limits
- Extended travel away from home may be required
What you'll do
- Run daily pre-trip checks on tires, brakes, lights, fuel, and oil
- Keep your truck in good shape and flag any issues to the maintenance team
- Use sound judgment getting in and out of job sites and during loading and unloading
- Follow DOT and all traffic laws, plus company safety rules
- Pitch in on other heavy equipment or construction tasks as needed
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, or able to get one
- At least 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Current DOT medical card
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Driving record that meets Fisher's vehicle program standards
- Open to night and weekend shifts and extended travel
