Gas Innovations in Houston, TX is looking for a safety-focused CDL Bobtail Driver to fill cylinders and bulk tanks for commercial and industrial customers in a local area.
What you'll haul
- LP gas and compressed gases, delivered via bobtail truck on a scheduled local route
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Bobtail, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements
- Clean driving record over the past five years
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Familiar with electronic logs and safe LP gas handling
- Texas Railroad Certification and TWIC card required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors
What you'll do
- Operate a bobtail truck to deliver gas to customers
- Load and unload cylinders safely
- Verify deliveries and get customer signatures
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs
- Handle and secure cylinders per DOT rules
- Keep your vehicle clean and report any issues
- Submit paperwork like invoices and manifests on time
