Our company in Huntsville, AL is looking for a Box Truck Driver to handle over-the-road freight deliveries, including refrigerated loads and hazmat shipments.
Pay
- $700.00 to $1,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Box truck freight, including refrigerated trailers and hazardous materials/dangerous goods
- You'll load and unload cargo yourself, securing it to safety standards
Routes
- Over-the-road (OTR) routes planned and followed using GPS navigation
Requirements
- Commercial truck driving experience; flatbed or tanker trailer experience preferred
- Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules, plus hazardous materials regulations
- Able to physically load and unload freight, including hazmat goods
- Clean driving record with a strong safety and compliance history
- Experience keeping delivery logs, inspection reports and other compliance paperwork
- Comfortable communicating with dispatch and customers to confirm schedules and sort out any delivery issues
