Box Truck Driver — $500–$1,500/Week

Our company is looking for a Box Truck Driver to handle freight transport and deliveries across local and over-the-road routes. You will be moving goods safely and on schedule while keeping accurate records along the way.

What you'll do

• Drive box trucks and tractor-trailers (including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and tankers) in line with DOT and FMCSA rules

• Plan routes with GPS tools to hit delivery windows on both OTR and local runs

• Load and unload freight by hand, keeping cargo properly secured

• Haul hazardous materials when required, following all related safety rules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, watching for mechanical problems and confirming loads are secure

• Keep delivery logs, shipment paperwork and compliance records up to date

• Stay in contact with dispatch, customers and teammates to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL plus a regular driver's license, with a clean driving record

• Background in commercial driving, delivery work or freight transport

• Comfortable working with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers and tractor-trailers

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat regulations and safety practices

• Able to manually load and unload cargo safely

• Experience navigating OTR routes using GPS

• Solid grasp of cargo handling procedures for secure, accurate freight movement

• Comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmission trucks

• Must pass a drug test, background check and MVR review

$500.00 - $1,500.00 per week
