Our company, a Canadian family-owned carrier based in Stratford, Ontario since 1913, is looking for full-time and part-time long-haul drivers to run dedicated routes with transborder work.
Pay
The role pays between $50,000 and $120,000 a year, with a graduated pay scale and bonuses for safe and smart driving.
Home time
Dedicated routes mean you know your schedule in advance, with no more than 3 days on the road before returning home.
What you'll haul
You'll drive a tractor-trailer unit, handling loading and unloading of freight and making sure deliveries arrive safely and on time.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class AZ license
- Meets minimum medical standards for commercial licensing
- Familiar with MTO, DOT, WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods rules
- Able to work at heights up to 5 feet and climb ladders and steps
- Comfortable with repetitive transmission shifting
- Drug- and alcohol-free
- Valid passport or FAST card with transborder experience
- 3 to 5 years of driving experience preferred
