AZ Long Haul Driver — Dedicated Ontario-Newfoundland Route

Our company needs seasoned AZ drivers to run a dedicated lane between their Mississauga, ON terminal and Newfoundland, cutting through Quebec and the Maritimes. Expect long highway stretches, a Marine Atlantic ferry crossing, toll bridges, and both dry van and reefer freight, all year-round including winter conditions.

Pay

Annual pay runs $80,000.00–$135,000.00, with mileage-based pay and dispatch packages built around Eastern Canada hauls.

What you'll haul

Dry van and refrigerated trailers, moving between Ontario and Newfoundland on a steady, dedicated freight lane.

Requirements

• Valid AZ commercial license

• At least 2 years of verified cross-provincial tractor-trailer experience (Eastern Canada or ferry experience helps)

• A commercial abstract showing zero demerit points and a clean CVOR

• Comfortable with ELD use and pre/post-trip paperwork

• Known for reliability, safety focus, and solid communication

Responsibilities

• Run the Mississauga-to-Newfoundland corridor and stops along the way

• Coordinate the North Sydney to Port aux Basques/Argentia ferry crossing and plan around winter conditions

• Complete full vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips

• Keep ELD logs compliant with Canadian HOS rules

• Stay in contact with dispatch and shop staff
