AZ Local Truck Driver — $27.59/hr, Home Most Nights

Our company, a long-running refrigerated carrier serving Canada and the U.S., needs an AZ/Class 1 local driver out of Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC. You'll haul temperature-controlled freight to various stops and move loads between terminals, Monday to Friday starting at 2pm.

Pay

• $27.59/hr

• Paid overtime

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 2pm start

• No fixed finish time; your day runs within hours-of-service limits

• This is a 24/7 operation with daily departures, so start times shift based on HOS rules

• Bid runs are available by seniority; otherwise you're on the open board and dispatched as needed

• Mostly home each night, though occasional overnight trips can happen

• Some slip seating may apply, and you may also run DZ units

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled, perishable freight moving between terminals and delivery points

Requirements

• Valid AZ/Class 1 license with at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience

• Must meet all licensing rules for this position

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and health check

• Bring your CVOR, driver's abstract and license copy to the interview

• Reference and criminal background checks are part of hiring

• PPE is required and supplied by the company

On the job, you're expected to drive safely in all weather, follow your schedule, keep dispatch updated, complete a proper pre-trip check, handle paperwork, follow hours-of-service rules, load and unload freight carefully, and use the onboard electronic logging and communication system. Safety meeting attendance is also expected.
