About this job
This is a local AZ pickup-and-delivery driving role in Etobicoke, ON, running a manual transmission truck on weekday shifts. You'll handle general freight and TDG (dangerous goods) deliveries, with daily start times shifting between 3am and 7am.
Pay
- $29.14 per hour
- Overtime kicks in after 60 hours
- Expected hours range from 40.0 to 55.0 per week
- Incorporated drivers are not paid under this arrangement
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, full time
- Shifts run 8 to 14 hours, starting between 3am and 7am with daily flexibility needed
What you'll haul
- General freight and TDG (dangerous goods) shipments
- At least 13 stops per day
- You offload the truck yourself, using a jigger or pump cart that's provided
- Lifting up to 50lbs is part of the job
Requirements
- 5 years of verifiable AZ pickup-and-delivery experience
- Comfortable driving manual transmission
- Current driver's abstract and CVOR
- Must pass a security background clearance
- Able to sit for long stretches and lift, pull and push up to 50lbs
