AZ HazMat Field Driver/Technician — $25.30–$34.82/hr

Our company needs an AZ-licensed HazMat Field Driver/Technician in Beamsville, ON to haul hazardous and non-hazardous waste between customer sites. You'll run straight trucks and tractor-trailers, including roll-offs, tankers and gravel trains, handling both bulk loads and smaller LTL pickups.

Pay

• $25.30 to $34.82 an hour, with the exact rate set by local jurisdiction.

What you'll haul

• Bulk and containerized hazardous and non-hazardous waste

• Equipment may include roll-offs, tankers, gravel trains, tractor-trailers and box trucks

What you'll do

• Pick up waste at generator sites and keep accurate logbooks, permits, trip reports and waste manifests

• Apply correct placarding, labeling, load securement and HAZMAT segregation rules

• Complete DOT/MOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Communicate with customers and help keep the facility and grounds in order

• Take part in required safety training

Requirements

• Class AZ Commercial Driver's License

• HazMat and tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire

• Comfortable using hand and shop tools, with strong attention to detail
