AZ Float Truck Driver — $35–$45/hr

Our company needs a full-time AZ licensed driver to move company equipment and materials between active jobsites across Ontario, dispatched out of the Main Equipment Shop. Pay runs $35–$45 an hour for this permanent position, and you'll sometimes be hauling oversized loads on a tractor-trailer.

What you'll haul

• Company-owned heavy equipment and materials to and from construction sites, sometimes as a legal oversized load

What you'll do

• Drive float trucks and tractor-trailers under dispatcher direction

• Tie down, balance, and secure all cargo properly

• Coordinate timing and delivery details with shop and site crews

• Stop at MTO inspection points and work with enforcement officers as needed

• Keep accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and other required paperwork

• Run daily circle checks on tires, brakes, lights, and fluids

• Flag mechanical or safety problems right away, and handle minor roadside fixes when it's safe

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Class AZ licence with a clean record

• Background running float trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy vehicles

• Comfortable with GPS and judging load weight, dimensions, and clearance

• Ready to work in rain, snow, dirt, and rough terrain

• Open to long-distance hauls across Ontario, including remote and northern areas
