About this job
Our company is looking for a local driver to handle pickups and deliveries across the Greater Toronto Area. You'll report to the Safety and Compliance Supervisor and keep freight moving safely and on schedule.
What you'll do
- Pick up and drop off freight throughout the GTA
- Check your vehicle before and after each trip
- Secure loads properly for safe transport
- Keep delivery paperwork accurate
- Stay in contact with dispatch and customers
- Follow transportation rules and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid AZ or DZ license
- Clean abstract; CVOR experience is a plus
- At least 5 years driving professionally
- Solid familiarity with GTA roads and traffic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
