About this job
Our company, a family-run carrier based in Dorval, QC, needs experienced AZ cross-border drivers for short U.S. runs. You'll haul dry freight with one pickup and one drop per trip, and you're back at the Dorval terminal after every run.
Routes and schedule
- Destinations: Pennsylvania (PA), New Jersey (NJ), and Maryland (MD)
- Each run is a single night away, then back to Dorval
- Loads go yard to yard, one pickup and one delivery per trip
- Freight is all dry van, so reefer experience isn't needed
- Up to 3 trips per week, in any mix of the three destinations
- This is full-time, permanent, year-round work with steady load volume
Pay
- CA$675.00 per trip to Pennsylvania
- CA$675.00 per trip to New Jersey
- CA$725.00 per trip to Maryland
- Running 3 trips in a week can bring you up to CA$2,075
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Routes are scheduled and dispatched ahead of time
Equipment
- You'll run a late-model truck, 2020 or newer, kept in good condition
Requirements
- Valid Quebec Class 1 (AZ) licence
- At least 3 years of verifiable U.S. commercial driving experience
- Valid passport and eligibility to cross into the United States
- Clean driving record
- Reliable, professional attitude
- FAST card is a plus but not required
