AZ Class 1 Tanker Driver — $95,000/yr, Cross-Border

Our company Canada is hiring a full-time AZ Class 1 DOT Driver based in Sault Ste. Marie, ON to move bulk liquid and cryogenic products between our company plants and customer locations, including runs across the US border. The role pays a starting salary of $95,000 a year and involves demanding physical work and long shifts.

Pay

• Starting annual salary of $95,000

Schedule

• Up to 70 hours a week, 14-hour days, on a 5-on/2-off rotation

• May require time away from your home base for extended stretches

What you'll haul

• Bulk liquid, cryogenic and refrigerated products moved between our company production plants and customer sites, sometimes crossing into the US

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and equipment safety checks

• Climbing in and out of the cab using three points of contact from about 3 feet up

• Lifting hoses up to 50 lbs and overseeing loading/unloading while standing outside for up to 90 minutes at a stretch

• Filing TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required records using e-logs and company systems

• Wearing PPE at all times on the job

• Inspecting customer tank equipment and flagging repair needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Valid Class AZ licence held at least 36 months with 24 months of experience on similar equipment, clean history

• Minimum 3 years hauling tanker liquid trailers, including b-trains

• TDG and WHMIS certified

• Clean driver's abstract, no demerits

• Valid FAST Card and compliance with US DOT and FMCSA Clearinghouse rules
