AZ Bulk Liquid Tanker Driver — Cross-Border, Sorel-Tracy QC

Our company is hiring a Class 1 / AZ tanker driver based in Sorel-Tracy, QC to haul bulk liquid and cryogenic products between our company plants and customer sites, including runs across the US border.

Schedule

• Full-time, working up to 70 hours a week

• Shifts run 14 hours a day

• Rotation is either 4 days on / 4 days off, or 4 days on / 3 days off

• Expect time away from your home base when the job requires it

What you'll haul and do

• Deliver cryogenic and refrigerated liquid products to scheduled customers

• Inspect your equipment before runs to stay safe and compliant

• Get in and out of the cab several times daily using 3-point contact, from about 3 feet up

• Handle hoses up to 50 lbs as part of the job

• Stand outside for stretches up to 90 minutes while loading and unloading

• Check equipment at customer sites and flag tanks that need repair

• Fill out TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets and other logs, using e-logs and computer systems to track compliance

• Wear the required PPE on every task

• Cross into the US when needed, which means holding a FAST Card and meeting US DOT rules

What you need

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Valid provincial Class AZ license, held at least 36 months, with 24 months driving similar equipment, and no incidents

• At least 3 years driving tanker liquid trailers, including b-trains

• TDG and WHMIS training

• Clean driver's abstract, no demerits

• Valid FAST Card

• Registered and compliant with FMCSA Clearinghouse
