About this job
Our company is hiring a Switcher in Calgary, AB to move trailers around the yard and between load/unload doors, with some package handling duties as needed.
What you'll do
- Move trailers to and from loading/unloading doors and around the yard
- Load, unload and sort packages by hand when needed
- Lift, carry, push and pull packages for shifts of about two to four hours
- Scan and sort packages to the right conveyor system
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Two or fewer violations or accidents in the last 24 months
- Six months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator preferred
- Bilingual in French and English if based in Quebec
