Class 1 Cross-Border Long Haul Truck Driver — 65–95¢/mi

Our company is looking for a Class 1 driver to run long-haul freight between Canada and the United States, including oversized loads. You'll need border-crossing ability and strong knowledge of Hours of Service rules.

Pay

• Mileage pay of 65-70 cents per mile on standard loads, and 85-95 cents per mile on over-dimensional freight, depending on experience

• Company states yearly earnings in the $90,000-$120,000 range

What you'll haul

• Flatbed, step deck and RGN trailers

• Oversized/over-dimensional loads a plus to have experience with

• Routes run throughout Canada and the United States, based out of Alberta

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean record

• At least 2 years of long-haul experience preferred (as little as 1 year, or 6 months with training available through a pilot car role, may be considered)

• Able to legally cross the Canada-US border

• Solid grasp of Hours of Service rules

• Comfortable working independently

• French communication ability required; English also wanted

• Forklift/heavy equipment certification a plus

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills helpful
