About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time yard switcher in Brampton, ON L6T 4A1. You'll spot trailers around the yard and pitch in on package handling, working a steady Monday to Friday schedule.
What you'll do
- Shuttle trailers in and out of load/unload doors and reposition them around the yard
- Handle packages manually, which includes lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying
- Run packages through scanning and the conveyor sorting system
Schedule
Full time, Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent credential
- A current driver's license (Class 5, G, or 1/AZ) with a clean driving history
- No more than two violations or accidents on record over the last 24 months
- Preferred: half a year of experience handling packages or working as a switcher/CDL operator
- French and English fluency needed for anyone based in Quebec
