DZ/AZ Roll Off Truck Driver

Our company is hiring a Roll Off Truck Driver in North York, ON to handle waste and recycling collection on assigned routes using heavy collection equipment.

What you'll haul

• Residential waste and recycling materials via Roll Off truck

• Hydraulic and compaction packer systems

Requirements

• Valid DZ or AZ Commercial Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience, or graduation from an accredited truck driving school

• Proven ability to safely run heavy collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems

• Must meet all safety standards for safety-sensitive roles

• Good attendance history and willingness to work early mornings and overtime as needed

What you'll do

• Drive your route safely each day and complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and paperwork

• Collect curbside waste and recycling on schedule, following safety protocols

• Run hydraulic and compaction systems carefully to avoid equipment damage

• Flag mechanical problems, hazards, or incidents to your supervisor right away

• Keep your route running efficiently, your truck clean, and service quality high

• Follow traffic laws, local bylaws, company policy, and PPE rules

• Work alongside Helpers and Terminal Supervisors to keep operations running smoothly
