Waste Bin Delivery Driver — $27.00-$32.00/hr

Our company in Thunder Bay, ON is looking for a Waste Bin Delivery Driver to pick up and drop off waste bins at homes and businesses. During winter, duties shift to plowing and sanding lots and clearing walkways for commercial customers.

What you'll do

• Drive company trucks to deliver and collect bins at assigned stops

• Load and unload bins safely, handling light, medium and occasionally heavy weights

• Confirm addresses and keep to delivery timing

• Talk with customers about schedules or service changes

• Check vehicles before and after each shift and help with basic upkeep

• Keep logs of deliveries, pickups and routes

• Follow traffic and safety rules at all times

• Switch to snow plowing, sanding or shoveling duties as needed in winter

Pay

$27.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule

Flexible schedule, with tasks varying day to day between bin routes and winter plowing work

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• DZ license preferred, or willingness to get one

• Clean driver's abstract

• No criminal record

• Able to lift heavy items occasionally

• Truck driving experience is a plus but not required; training is provided

• Comfortable getting in and out of the truck repeatedly and staying active all shift

• Able to shovel snow or run a snow blower when needed

• Good communication skills with customers and coworkers

• Punctual and safety-minded

• English required
