About this job
Our company is looking for a Truck Driver to handle both local deliveries and longer over-the-road runs, keeping freight moving safely and on time. You'll work with refrigerated trucks and may occasionally haul dangerous goods.
Pay
- From $20.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
What you'll haul
- General freight on local and OTR routes
- Refrigerated cargo
- Dangerous goods when assigned, following DOT and FMCSA hazmat rules
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks using GPS to plan and complete routes
- Inspect your vehicle and secure cargo before each trip
- Load and unload freight using safe handling practices
- Keep accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle condition
- Report any delays, mechanical issues, or cargo problems right away
Requirements
- A valid driver's license matching the vehicle and load you're driving
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety and inspection rules
- Prior delivery or commercial truck driving experience is a plus
- Experience with refrigerated trucks is a plus
