About this job
Our company is hiring over-the-road reefer drivers with a Class A CDL for a dedicated account out of Lancaster, TX. Solo drivers, teams, trainees and experienced drivers can all apply.
Pay
- Average weekly earnings of $1,300 to $1,500 on a sliding mileage-based scale; the listing shows $1,354 to $1,584 a week.
- Pay is guaranteed for 3 months after your first solo dispatch.
- Expect roughly 1,800 to 2,000 miles per week.
- Stop pay is $25 per extra stop.
- A performance bonus is available through the Swift Driver Performance Bonus.
Home time and schedule
- You get home every 2 weeks, depending on where you live.
- Day and night shifts are available.
- Weekend work is required, and holiday work is expected unless you ask for time off.
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated freight, including live load/live unload, preloaded trailers and drop & hook.
- Hiring is within 200 miles of Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA, Gary/Chicago, IL/IN, Palmyra, PA, Memphis, TN and Richmond, VA.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL; no special endorsements needed.
- You should be comfortable with live loading and unloading.
- Trainees, first-seat drivers and drivers with 1+ year of experience are all welcome.
