Our company is looking for a dependable truck driver to move freight safely and keep up with company and safety standards. You'll handle loading, driving and basic vehicle upkeep as part of a full-time, permanent role.
Pay
- $5,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
- Full-time, permanent position
What you'll do
- Drive trucks to deliver freight to assigned locations
- Check the vehicle before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant
- Load and unload cargo, using a forklift or other equipment when needed
- Keep records of mileage, fuel use and maintenance work
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers about schedules or delays
- Follow all road rules and traffic laws
- Handle basic repairs and upkeep on the truck as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL and solid background in commercial driving
- Comfortable with freight handling and equipment like forklifts
- Experience running heavy equipment is a plus
- Some automotive repair knowledge helps you spot issues quickly
- Good organization and time management in a fast-moving environment
