Team CDL-A OTR Driver — No-Touch Freight, Avg. $2,114/Week

Our company is hiring Team CDL-A drivers to run OTR routes out of Savannah and Pooler, GA, hauling dedicated FedEx Ground freight. Loads are 100% drop and hook, so you never touch the freight, and you'll run steady, year-round miles in newer low-mileage sleeper trucks.

Pay

• Total pay comes to $0.84 CPM, made up of $0.68 base, $0.12 tax-free per diem, and $0.04 safety bonus

• Teams average $2,114 a week ($109,928 a year), with top earners making $2,289+ weekly ($119,028 a year)

• Median pay runs about $2,105 a week ($109,460 a year), and the middle 50% of drivers earn between $1,991 and $2,289 a week ($103,532-$119,028 a year)

• Base pay listed separately starts at $0.80 per mile

• Keep a clean DOT inspection record and safe driving habits to pick up the extra $0.04 per mile safety bonus

What you'll haul

• Dedicated FedEx Ground freight, drop and hook only, with no loading or unloading

• Routes run out of three Georgia locations: 135 Coleman Blvd, Savannah, GA 31322; 505 Morgan Lakes Industrial Blvd, Pooler, GA 31322; and 190 Medline Dr, Richmond Hill, GA 31324

• Teams cover roughly 5,000 miles a week combined, about 2,500 miles per driver, on consistent OTR runs

Equipment and schedule

• Comfortable, low-mileage sleeper trucks

• Predictable OTR schedules with mileage well above industry norms

• Freight volume stays steady year-round thanks to the FedEx Ground contract

• Both full-time and part-time positions available

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card

• Doubles endorsement required, though you can get it during the hiring process

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving in the past 3 years (prior experience with FedEx, Western Express, Dollar General, Amazon, or Werner is a plus)

• Minimum age 21

• Clean driving record with no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years

• Clean background with no felonies or drug-related misdemeanors in the past 10 years, plus FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance and a passed DOT drug test
