About this job
Our company is looking for a solo Class A driver to run over-the-road routes hauling 53-foot dry van freight that's no-touch. Expect stretches of about 12 days out at a time, with flexible home time between runs.
Pay
- $0.70 per mile, with a $1,000 weekly minimum guaranteed
- Typical weekly earnings range from $1,000 to $3,500
Home time
- Solo driving with roughly 12 days on the road
- Home time is flexible
What you'll haul
- 53-foot dry van trailers, no-touch freight
- Occasionally hazardous materials, when assigned, following FMCSA and hazmat rules
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience
- Able to meet DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Comfortable with manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with GPS navigation and trip planning
