Supply Delivery Truck Driver — Mon–Fri Schedule, No Weekends

ROi, part of HCA Healthcare's supply chain operation in St. Louis, MO, is looking for a driver to pick up and deliver medical supplies and related goods between facilities. You'll work a steady Monday through Friday schedule, noon to 8pm.

What you'll haul

• Medical supplies, mail, small equipment, lab specimens, food, pharmacy items, x-rays, recycling, shredding, biohazard materials, oxygen and laundry

• Loads moved using a scanning handheld, electric pallet jack, two-wheeler and the delivery vehicle itself

What the job involves

• Scanning every tracked package into the ROi system as it moves through each delivery step

• Checking staging areas (mailbox, route racks, refrigerator) each day for outgoing product, inspecting it as needed, and getting everything delivered same-day

• Logging equipment in and out daily and keeping it in safe, damage-free condition

• Completing required paperwork: vehicle inspection reports, weekly driver reports, temperature logs and laundry sheets, turned in to the office team

• Keeping DOT logbooks and other required records up to date

• Doing a pre-trip and post-trip inspection on your equipment every day

• Staying in touch with the logistics office by phone, including hands-free while driving, for rerouting and customer service needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Class E license required; Class A or Class B also accepted

• One to five years of delivery experience is a plus, with vehicles ranging from cars to straight trucks up to 26,000 lbs gross weight, plus experience with a forklift, pallet jacks (powered and manual), two-wheel dollies and carts
