CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for a Class A driver to run a local delivery route out of their St. Louis, MO terminal, handling freight pickups and drop-offs with a safety-first, customer-focused approach.
Pay
- $31 per hour, paid biweekly
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30am
- Local work, home every day
- Dedicated routes with steady miles and hours
What you'll haul
- General freight picked up and delivered to customer sites and the terminal
- Freight is loaded and unloaded by hand or with equipment, then sorted and palletized
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum age 21
- At least one year of commercial driving experience
- Clean record: no DUI or DWI in the last 3 years, no more than 3 traffic violations in that time
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements needed (or willingness to get them, with renewal costs covered)
- Must pass a pre-employment driving skills test
- Able to handle physical tasks like climbing in/out of the cab, moving freight up to 2,500 pounds with equipment, carrying loads up to 40 pounds, and hooking/unhooking trailers
