About this job
Our company needs a fill-in driver to cover a 53 ft dry van for one week, October 12th to October 16th, while the owner is out of town. You'll be home every other day during the run.
Pay
- Up to $2,000.00 for the week, with expected earnings in the $1,500 to $2,000 range
Schedule
- Covers October 12th through October 16th only
- Home every other day during the assignment
What you'll haul
- Freight in a 53 ft dry van trailer
Requirements
- Valid CDL with endorsements matching the equipment
- TWIC card and tanker endorsement preferred
- Comfortable handling pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing cargo, and keeping accurate logs and delivery paperwork per DOT and FMCSA rules
- Solid route-planning skills using GPS and ability to stay in touch with dispatch on the road
