Shipper/Straight Truck Driver — $20–$22/hr

This role combines warehouse shipping duties with occasional local deliveries as a backup driver for a Mississauga manufacturing facility. You'll help move materials between departments and out to customers, working Monday to Friday afternoons into the evening.

Pay

• $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

What you'll do

• Tag, package and stage materials for internal moves and outgoing shipments

• Run pump trucks and other approved handling equipment to load and unload goods

• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs

• Act as backup driver, using the company's 18-foot straight truck to deliver and pick up materials around the Greater Toronto Area

• Confirm shipment readiness and delivery timing with the logistics coordinator

• Flag recurring quality issues to the shipping team

Requirements

• Valid Ontario G license with a clean record

• High school diploma

• Some experience operating commercial or straight trucks

• 3 to 5 years in a shipping or driving role is a plus

• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse setting
