Pay
- Base pay of $0.85 per mile, combined with an hourly rate of $18 for all hours worked plus activity-based pay on top
- Typical earnings run around $1,597.50 a week, or about $83,070 a year, though actual pay depends on training, tenure, equipment and days worked
- Extra pay opportunities include $325 a day for holidays, new hire training and outsource rate, $20/hr for safety training, and $40 per stop
- Possible bonuses tied to safety and performance
Home time
Drivers get frequent home time while running a dedicated lane for a single customer.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- Must pass a criminal background check (considered under applicable fair chance laws)
