Seasonal Salt Truck Driver — $24–$27/hr, Home Daily

Our company in Stirling, ON needs a seasonal driver for the winter season to run a company salt truck. You'll cover a set route, apply salt and de-icer at contracted properties, and log details at every stop.

Pay

• $24.00-$27.00 per hour

• Hours vary with the weather, ranging from 10 to 40 per week

Home time

• You're home every day, but stay on call for snow and ice events, weekends and holidays included

What you'll haul

• You'll drive a salt truck supplied by the company, with equipment like shovels and de-icer provided

Requirements

• Ability to drive safely and defensively in winter weather

• Flexibility to work hours that shift with the weather, including weekends and holidays

• Snow removal or salting experience is a plus, and you'll be asked about it when you apply
