Seasonal Part-Time Courier Driver — $23.28/hr, Home Daily

This is a short-term seasonal courier role with our company in Cambridge, ON, lasting up to 12 weeks. You'll run a local delivery and pickup route and be home every day. Pay is $23.28/hr.

Pay

Home time

• You're back home daily, no overnights

Schedule

• Part-time hours, working Sunday through Thursday

• Sunday begins at 0900, Monday's start time is still to be determined, and Tuesday through Thursday run 0830 to 1700

What you'll haul

• Packages on an assigned local route, both dropping off and picking up

• Occasional help loading or unloading containers or aircraft when it's needed

What you'll do

• Inspect shipments to confirm labels are correct and service standards are met

• Load your delivery van and map out your stops for an efficient run

• Work with onboard tracking and dispatch tools

• Field questions from customers about FedEx's services

• Carry yourself professionally as the face of the company on your route

Requirements

• Full G license (or an equivalent) that's currently valid

• High school diploma or GED

• No driving experience necessary, though customer service background is a plus

• No more than 2 infractions or accidents on your driving record in the last 24 months

• If you're based in Quebec, you'll need to be fluent in both French and English
