About this job
Our company, a family-run bulk propane supplier serving Muskoka, Haliburton and central Ontario for over 25 years, needs a DZ driver to deliver propane to rural homes and small businesses out of their Mactier facility. This is a seasonal run from October through April, working Sunday to Thursday each week.
Pay
- $26.50 per hour
Schedule
- Sunday through Thursday, seasonally from October to April
- Shifts start at 7:00am and run about 10 hours
- New hires train Monday to Friday for roughly 2 weeks, partly out of the Gravenhurst office
- This seasonal role repeats each year due to winter heating demand
What you'll haul
- Bulk propane deliveries to rural residential and light commercial customers
- Multiple stops per day, loading and unloading propane yourself
- Driving on rural roads in all weather, with frequent backing into tight spots
- Using onboard GPS for navigation and keeping delivery paperwork accurate
Requirements
- DZ license with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Comfortable performing daily vehicle checks and operating safely and professionally
- Strong focus on safe propane handling and delivery practices
