About this job
Our company needs a seasonal, full-time straight truck driver in Timmins, ON to run highway delivery stops with a company-provided vehicle. Peak season may require weekend work.
Pay
- $21.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time, seasonal/casual position
- Weekend shifts possible during peak season
What you'll haul
- Deliveries to multiple stops along a highway route, using a company-supplied straight truck
- Freight handling includes shipments weighing 50-75 lbs or more
- You'll load, unload and organize freight using various delivery tools and assistance equipment
Requirements
- DZ license with air brake endorsement
- 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred
- Clean criminal record check
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple tasks, and following rules of the road and company procedures
- Able to inspect your vehicle before and after each trip, keep it clean, and log hours and mileage accurately
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism on every stop
- Experience using onboard technology for route mapping, tracking and communication
