About this job
Our company is hiring for its commercial Winter Maintenance Division in the GTA, which has handled snow plowing and de-icing for over 25 years. This seasonal role runs from December 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027 and covers salt truck driving or heavy snow equipment operation.
Pay
- $25.00-$35.00 per hour, negotiated based on your experience and qualifications
What you'll do
- Drive a salt truck (DZ or AZ license) or operate heavy snow equipment such as loaders and farm tractors
- Be on-call 24-7 throughout the contract period
- Perform physical labour outdoors in winter weather conditions
- Follow verbal and written directions and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid Ontario driver's license (Class DZ or AZ) with a clean abstract
- At least 3 years of experience operating commercial snow maintenance equipment
- Snow plowing experience (3 years preferred)
- A vehicle or other way to reach the designated start point within 1 hour
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Available for the full December 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027 season
