About this job
Our company is hiring salt truck drivers for its commercial winter maintenance operations across the GTA. This is a seasonal, on-call role running from December 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027, operating snow and ice control equipment for established commercial clients.
Pay
- $25.00-$35.00 per hour, with exact rate set based on your experience and qualifications
Schedule
- Full-time, seasonal position running December 1, 2026 through April 1, 2027
- You need to be on-call around the clock during the contract
- You must be able to reach the designated starting point within 1 hour, so a car or other reliable transportation is required
What you'll haul
- You'll operate commercial snow and de-icing equipment, spreading salt to keep client properties clear during winter weather
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ or AZ license (or higher) with a clean driving record
- At least 3 years operating commercial snow maintenance equipment; snow plowing experience preferred
- Comfortable working outside in winter conditions and doing physical labor
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Able to follow both spoken and written directions
- Willing to follow all company policies and safety rules
